We take great pride in being able to customize the product for you. For us to be able to do it there are a couple of requirements on what you send. Read more below to find out the specific instructions for images, photos and databases.

Databasing


When should I send in my database?
Send in your database updates two weeks prior to your mailing.


What do I do with returned cards?
Upon approval of your imprint set up you will receive a New Cusomter Packet with a Database Update Packet with return envelopes in it. Simply insert the returned cards in the envelopes provided, affix required postage and mail the card to our office. Upon receipt, we will update your database and email your current database number(s) to you.


How is data accepted?
Data is accepted in the following formats:
- Excel
- ASCII separated
- comma delimited
- .TXT
- .DBF

How do I know that you've received my changes?
You will be notified via email each time your database is updated. With notification, you will also receive dates your database was updated along with your current database numbers.


How will I know my mailing has been delivered?
Place yourself with your home address on your database so you know when your mailing was delivered.


How can I request a copy of my database?
Request a copy of your database via email at data@imarketnow.com on a quarterly basis to update it accordingly. We will mail-out, fax, or email you a copy of your database(s).

If you have more than one database on file please indicate which database to update with submitted changes.


Who should I put on my database?
  1. Previous clients - they should be at the top of your list. They're a primary source of referrals and a great source of future business as they move up the economic ladder.

  2. Friends and family, of course. They already know you and should be comfortable doing business with you. They should also be enthusiastic about recommending you to their relatives and friends.

  3. Members of your church, synagogue, service clubs and organizations you belong to.

  4. People you do business with - doctor, lawyer, dentist, hairstylist, banker, child's piano teacher, coaches...

  5. People you hear talking about moving, buying or selling a home, the cost of renting...the possibilities are endless.

Exporting a Database

How to Make a Text File from ACT
  1. Open the database that you want to make a text file of.
  2. Click on File; Data Exchange; Export - This will bring up the Export Wizard.
  3. File type should show Text Delimited, if not, use the down arrow & select Text Delimited.
  4. File name & Location - click on the Browse button (3 dots in a box).
  5. Save As box will come up.
  6. Save in desktop so you can locate your file with ease later.
  7. File Name will be the name of the database you are exporting.
  8. Save.
  9. Click on Next.
  10. Contact Records only should be checked - Click on Next.
  11. Current Look-up should be checked - Click on Next.
  12. Use the current map or load the map of your choice. (The information that we need for your postcards is: Contact (Borrower), Co-Borrower, Address 1, Address 2, Address 3, City, State, Zip)
  13. Click on Finish.
  14. This will export the current open database onto your desktop. You can now open this database in Excel or email attachment to data@imarketnow.com

How to Export Data from Your Outlook Database
  1. Open Outlook
  2. Go to File - Import & Export
  3. Click on Export to a file
  4. Next
  5. Microsoft Excel
  6. Next
  7. Select the folder you want to export
  8. Next
  9. Save exported file to your desktop and name it
  10. Next
  11. Click on Map Custom Fields
  12. Create your map (it gives you instructions in the Export Wizard on how to do this)
  13. Ok
  14. Finish
  15. Now you can attach this to your email - send to data@imarketnow.com

How to Export from Microsoft Access to a Spreadsheet
Exporting to a spreadsheet is simple, just select the datasheet in the Database window and do the following:
  1. Choose Export from the File menu.
  2. Specify a folder and name if you need to.
  3. Select the appropriate spreadsheet file in the “Save As Type” field.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Access won't launch a wizard. Instead, Access will export the file automatically. Excel displays each Access field in its own column. Also notice that the first row of the spreadsheet contains the table's field names. If you want to export formats, you can click the Save Formatted option in the Export Table dialog box before you click Save. Remember that if you export data to an existing worksheet, Access deletes any existing data and replaces it with the data you're exporting.
  6. Email your file to data@imarketnow.com

How to Export from Goldmine
  1. In GoldMine, click Tools > Import/Export Wizard > Export Contact Records.
  2. Select Export to a new file.
  3. Select ASCII File and click Next.
  4. Select All Contact Records.
  5. Click Add Field for every field you want to export in the "GoldMine Fields" list.
  6. Click Next.
  7. Enter a file name and select "Export GoldMine field names that has mappings as first record."
  8. Save your export to your desktop so you can find it later and click Next.
  9. Click Finish.
  10. You are ready to email your data to data@imarketnow.com


How to Email Your Database File
  1. Open your email program and write the message you would like to send.
  2. Address the email to data@imarketnow.com
  3. Find the attach button (on the toolbar (at top) of the email). Click on it.
  4. Open up Desktop and locate your data file.
  5. Choose ATTACH.
  6. Send the email.

Imprint Requirements


When should I send in my imprint changes?
Custom imprint changes to your mailing program must be given 4 weeks prior to your next mailing date. You may send them at any time, but there is no guaranty that the changes will take effect for that months mailing. After we receive your change we will fax or email you a proof for your approval. Approval is required within 24 hours to avoid job delay.


Photos
To ensure the best print quality all photos must be: 300 dpi resolution. If you need help uploading your photo please call us toll free 1.877.285.9255 or local 303.339.8311. Photos are accepted in the following file formats:
- .tif
- .jpg
- .eps

If I don't have an electronic photo then what can I do?
You can send us a hard copy to scan at:

Logos
To ensure the best print quality all logos must be: 300 dpi resolution (the best quality for printing.) Logos must be in the following formats:

- .ai (Adobe Illustrator)

Cancellation Policy


If you would like to discontinue your mailing services, we require that you give us a 30-day written notice sent either by toll free fax 877.316.0068 or email. We ask this simply because we print your mailing pieces up to 30 days in advance of your actual mailing date.

Billing Policy


Each month that you have a mailing, your credit card will be automatically billed on the first day of the month. Any changes that you made in the previous month will be reflected on your current month's bill.
